Working with Alexander Wang as lead graphic designer, my role was to help conceptualize, research, and design the visual collateral and graphics for each collection. Working directly with Alex Wang and the creative team, high profile collections and artworks spanned the brands’ visual identity — from digital marketing assets to fashion show visuals. It was imperative to have an adaptive skill set with abilities to visualize and bring to life conceptual ideas into high-level, luxury materials.

 

Spring Summer 2019

Concept was Alex’s roots as a Chinese-American. Graphics and visuals meshed iconic Americana insignia and branding, with Chinioserie elements, all morphed through the lens of NYC. Chiniose bandana prints, custom designed Championship rings, custom chrome molds, and re-branding of classic American brands like Starter and Fox, are some highlights of the collection.

Fall Winter 2019

Creative direction included a high end pseudo-corporate energy. Reimagined 90s tennis graphics on oxfords, pole dancer embroideries on turtleneck, and gold jewelry silk prints are highlights of the collection.

Spring Summer 2020

All your 90s favorite Americana brands reimagined and rebranded for Wang, with a twist.
